As Black Workers, our truths are too often distorted and we are told that our experiences are imagined. As a part of the Working While Black Expo, you are invited to visit our mobile video booth to record and share your experiences of Working While Black.

The NBWCP will feature these stories as a part of its Working While Black video series, and community leaders will be use them as tools in their work to advocate for policy change that benefits Black workers.

We tell our stories because our truths bring validation and support from one another, which empowers us to mobilize and to fight for change. By telling our truth, we inspire others to do the same.

It is time to bring the truth of Black workers out of the shadows and use our stories to create change.
